Employer Tells Federal Judge ACA Mandate Violates Religious Rights

Mealey's (June 15, 2015, 3:01 PM EDT) -- DENVER — The government’s modified means of avoiding the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (ACA) contraceptive mandate violates religious rights in the same manner as the original method, an employer tells a Colorado federal court in a Dec. 1, 2014, motion for partial summary judgment (Fellowship of Catholic University Students, et al. v. Sylvia Burwell, et al., No. 13-3263, D. Colo.).
