(September 24, 2015, 10:06 AM EDT) -- PHILADELPHIA — The continued viability of an April settlement that resolved brain injury claims levied against the National Football League (NFL) was debated again on Sept. 22 in briefs filed with the Third Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals (In re: National Football League Players’ Concussion Injury Litigation, Nos. 15-2206, -2217, -2230, -2234, -2272, -2273, -2290, -2291, -2292, -2294, -2304 and -2305, 3rd Cir.).
