Travelers Asks To Be Heard In Appeal Of Ruling Barring Claims Against Insurer

(September 24, 2015, 8:19 AM EDT) -- NEW YORK — Two Travelers insurance companies on Sept. 18 sought to intervene in an appeal in New York federal court of a bankruptcy judge’s ruling that an asbestosis victim cannot pursue claims against an insurer of Johns-Manville Corp. because the claims are barred by nearly 30-year-old court orders confirming Johns-Manville’s bankruptcy reorganization plan and issuing an injunction against such claims (The Bogdan Law Firm v. Marsh USA, Inc., No. 15-6607, S.D. N.Y.).

(Motion to intervene available. Document #48-150925-022M.)
