Plaintiffs Tell 11th Circuit ACA Birth-Control Mandate Violates Religious Rights

Mealey's (June 15, 2015, 3:00 PM EDT) -- ATLANTA — If forcing an employer to violate its religious beliefs or face severe fines doesn’t constitute a substantial burden on religious practices, it’s hard to imagine what would, plaintiffs told the 11th Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals on Dec. 4, 2014, in a Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (ACA) challenge (The Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Atlanta, et al. v.
