3rd Circuit Briefs Address If Additional Insured Is Covered In Injured Worker Suit

Mealey's (September 23, 2015, 12:37 PM EDT) -- PHILADELPHIA — In its Sept. 9 appellant reply brief, a liability insurer asked the Third Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals to reverse a trial court’s ruling that it had a duty to defend the owner of a construction project in a workplace injury suit because no liability was alleged against the policy’s primary insured (Ramara Inc. v. Westfield Insurance Co., et al., No. 15-1003, 3rd Cir.).
