ITLOS Says Singapore Will Become Venue For Its Proceedings

(September 21, 2015, 10:44 AM EDT) -- SINGAPORE — The International Tribunal for the Law of the Sea (ITLOS) on Sept. 1 announced that Singapore will now become a venue for its proceedings.

The ITLOS said Singapore Permanent Secretary to the Ministry of Law Ng How Yue and the ITLOS President Judge Vladimir Golitsyn signed a joint declaration, which will allow Singapore to become a venue for ITLOS proceedings or cases before an ITLOS special tribunal.
