EPA: Lighter Maker To Pay Fine For Hazardous Waste Violations

(September 10, 2015, 7:17 AM EDT) -- PHILADELPHIA — A regional office of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency announced Aug. 25 that Zippo Manufacturing Co. would pay a $186,000 penalty for violating the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA) as a result of its storage and disposal of hazardous substances.
