California Appeals Court Again Overturns Water Extraction Refund

Mealey's (September 9, 2015, 11:41 AM EDT) -- SAN JOSE, Calif. — A California appeals court on Aug. 12 issued a new opinion in a case involving groundwater extraction fees but reached the same conclusion, overturning a trial court’s $4.62 million refund (Great Oaks Water Company v. Santa Clara Valley Water District, No. H035260, Calif. App., 6th Dist.).
