Pennsylvania Federal Judge Grants Injunction In Birth-Control Case

Mealey's (June 15, 2015, 12:37 PM EDT) -- PHILADELPHIA — A Pennsylvania federal judge on Oct. 10, 2014, permanently enjoined the government from enforcing Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (ACA) contraceptive mandate obligations or penalties against a closely held corporation (Geneva College, et al. v. Sylvia Burwell, et al., No. 12-207, W.D. Pa.).
