Texas Panel Says Coverage Owed For Gas Well Blowout

(September 8, 2015, 12:38 PM EDT) -- EASTLAND, Texas — The 11th District Texas Court of Appeals on Aug. 31 affirmed that coverage is owed to an insured for damages associated with the blowout of its gas well because it is clear from the policies at issue that the well was an insured well and it is clear that the insured was the working interest owner of the well at the time of the explosion (St. Paul Fire & Marine Insurance Co., et al. v.
