Subpoena On Reporter Quashed In Securities Case Against Amgen
(September 2, 2015, 10:03 AM EDT) -- WASHINGTON, D.C. — A District of Columbia federal judge on Aug. 21 granted a reporter’s motion to quash a subpoena seeking to depose him in a securities class action, finding that the issuing firm failed to overcome the reporter’s privilege under the First Amendment to the U.S. Constitution (Paul B. Goldberg v. Amgen Inc., No. 1:15-mc-00825, D. D.C.; 2015 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 110726).
