Judge Allows Jury To Hear Expert Testimony In Oil Well Breach Of Contract Lawsuit
(August 31, 2015, 12:23 PM EDT) -- NEW ORLEANS — Permitting experts to testify to a jury of a contractor’s conduct, a Louisiana federal judge ruled Aug. 26 that a non-operating interest-holder to an oil well provided sufficient evidence of damages caused by the contractor’s alleged breach of contract and negligence (Solstice Oil & Gas I LLC v. OBES Inc., et al., No. 12-2417, E.D. La.; 2015 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 113233).
