Nebraska Supreme Court Affirms Cancellation Of Water Appropriation For Nonuse

Mealey's (August 26, 2015, 7:37 AM EDT) -- LINCOLN, Neb. — The Nebraska Supreme Court on Aug. 21 affirmed the cancellation of a 60-year old water appropriation from the North Loup River for nonuse (In Re Appropriation A-7603, Water Division 2-A, Broken Nine Living Trust v. Nebraska Department of Natural Resources, No. S-14-906, Neb. Sup.; 2015 Neb. LEXIS 150).
