Association Sues In Oklahoma Federal Court Over Tacit Denial Of Drilling Permits

(August 25, 2015, 10:10 AM EDT) -- TULSA, Okla. — An oil and gas producer association filed suit on Aug. 18 in an Oklahoma federal court, seeking agency review of the denial of oil and gas drilling permits, which the plaintiff says has led to a reduction in the oil and gas royalty paid to the Osage Indians (Osage Producers Association v. Sally Jewell, et al., No. 15-469, N.D. Okla.).
