Patent Owner Tells High Court Due Process Was Violated By New Claim Construction
Mealey's (August 24, 2015, 10:03 AM EDT) -- WASHINGTON, D.C. — An appellate court violated a patent owner’s due process by reversing a patent infringement judgment based upon a new claim construction without remand in denial of its right to present evidence, the patent owner asserts in an Aug. 13 petition to the U.S. Supreme Court (MobileMedia Ideas LLC v. Apple Inc., No. 15-206, U.S. Sup.).
