3rd Circuit Remands Case At Heart Of Hobby Lobby Ruling
Mealey's (June 12, 2015, 3:21 PM EDT) -- PHILADELPHIA — The Third Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals on Aug. 5, 2014, remanded one of the cases at the heart of the U.S. Supreme Court ruling finding that closely held for-profit corporations are entitled to religious protection from the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (ACA) contraceptive mandate (Conestoga Woods Specialties Corp., et al. v. Secretary of Health and Human Services, et al., No. 13-1144, 3rd Cir.).
