Man Says Insurer Wrongly Applied Exclusions To Deny Coverage

(August 19, 2015, 11:19 AM EDT) -- ST. LOUIS — A man who contends that his claim for coverage under his homeowners policy was wrongly denied, recently appealed a federal court ruling to the Eighth Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals arguing that the lower court erred when it ruled that the insurer could apply two policy exclusions that are not applicable to the situation at issue (Michael Bull v. Nationwide Mutual Fire Insurance Company, No. 15-1397, 8th Cir.).
