Religious Employers Ask Top Court To Review ACA Accommodation

(August 18, 2015, 12:51 PM EDT) -- WASHINGTON, D.C. — Groups of religious employers on July 23 asked the nation’s top court to determine whether the accommodation offered to those who object to the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (ACA) accommodation for religious objectors substantially burdens religious practices (Little Sisters of the Poor Home for the Aged, Denver Colorado, et al. v. Sylvia Burwell, et al., No. 15-105, U.S. Sup.; 2015 U.S. S. Ct. Briefs LEXIS 2472).
