Parties In Tribal Groundwater Water Rights Case Debate Stay Pending Appeal

Mealey's (August 12, 2015, 11:34 AM EDT) -- RIVERSIDE, Calif. — Two California water districts that lost a case involving rights to water under a Native American reservation on Aug. 4 asked a federal court to stay the next two phases of the case until after a federal circuit court hears their appeal (Agua Caliente Band of Cahuilla Indians v. Coachella Valley Water District, et al., No. 13-883, C.D. Calif., Eastern Div.; See 6/18/15, Page 12).
