State Of Oklahoma Urges High Court To Hear Gaming Suit Against Kialagee Tribe

Mealey's (August 6, 2015, 8:42 AM EDT) -- WASHINGTON, D.C. — The State of Oklahoma on July 24 again urged the U.S. Supreme Court to grant its petition for writ of certiorari and overturn a 10th Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals decision dismissing its case challenging the Kialagee Tribal Town’s attempt to build a casino on land owned by another tribe (State of Oklahoma v. Tiger Hobia, et al., No. 14-1177 U.S. Sup.; 2015 U.S. S. Ct. Briefs LEXIS 2521).
