Judge: Some Claims In Lease Dispute Against Fracking Company Survive
Mealey's (August 4, 2015, 12:03 PM EDT) -- LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — A federal judge in Arkansas on July 29 partially granted and partially denied a group of landowners’ claims against a hydraulic fracturing company, ruling that some of their claims for breach of implied covenant with regard to their fracking leases survived for trial (Kenneth Joe May, et al. v. BHP Billiton Petroleum, No. 13-494, E.D. Ark.; 2015 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 100357).
