Contamination Exclusion Bars Coverage For Contaminated Beef, Federal Judge Says

(December 9, 2016, 2:16 PM EST) -- OMAHA, Neb. — An insurer has no duty to cover more than $1.3 million in losses incurred by an additional insured because of E. coli contamination in a supply of beef because the policy’s contamination exclusion clearly precludes coverage, a Nebraska federal judge said Nov. 22 in granting the insurer's motion for judgment on the pleadings (Meyer Natural Foods LLC, et al. v.
