11 States Seek To Enjoin Clean Water Rule; Stay Sought Pending MDL Motion
Mealey's (July 23, 2015, 10:59 AM EDT) -- BRUNSWICK, Ga. — Eleven states on July 21 asked a Georgia federal court to temporarily enjoin the federal Clean Water Rule, and the federal government asked the court to stay the case and others like it pending the United States’ motion to transfer the cases into a multidistrict litigation (State of Georgia, et al. v. Gina A. McCarthy, et al., No. 15-79, S.D. Ga.).
