New York Appeals Panel Says GM Did Not Violate Law In Relocating Dealer

(October 12, 2016, 10:46 AM EDT) -- ROCHESTER, N.Y. — A New York appeals panel on Oct. 7 found that General Motors LLC did not violate a New York state vehicle and traffic law when it approved the relocation request of a Chevrolet dealer without giving notice to another Chevrolet franchisee in the same area because no notice is required under the law until the relocated dealer actually moves (Van Wie Chevrolet Inc. v.
