Klamath Water Plaintiffs Say They Have Property Rights, Seek Partial Judgment

Mealey's (October 11, 2016, 2:23 PM EDT) -- WASHINGTON, D.C. — Thirty-one plaintiffs on Oct. 5 filed a cross-motion for partial summary judgment against the United States in the U.S. Court of Federal Claims, saying that they have a cognizable property interests that the United States has infringed on through its operation of the Klamath Project in Oregon and California (Klamath Irrigation District, et al. v. United States, et al., No. 01-591L, John Anderson Farms, Inc., et al. v. United States, No. 07-194C, Fed. Clms.).
