Florida Federal Judge Issues Injunction Against Firm To Protect Information
Mealey's (October 10, 2016, 11:47 AM EDT) -- ORLANDO, Fla. — A Florida federal judge on Oct. 6 granted a preliminary injunction enjoining a mobile hydraulic services company from operating in the same territory as a hydraulic and industrial hose services franchisor because, he said, the franchisor has legally enforceable rights to protect valuable confidential and proprietary information (Pirtek USA LLC v. Michael J. Twillman, et al., No. 6:16-cv-01302, M.D. Fla.; 2016 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 138811).
