Judge Stays Fracking Cases Pending Resolution Of Pennsylvania Matter
Mealey's (October 7, 2016, 2:59 PM EDT) -- OKLAHOMA CITY — A federal judge in Oklahoma on Sept. 19 stayed four identical cases in which residents allege breach of contract and fraud claims related to oil and gas leases with a hydraulic fracturing company in Pennsylvania, ruling that the litigation could not proceed until another case dealing with the same issues was resolved (Dean F. Arnold, et al. v. Chesapeake Energy Corporation, et al., No. 2015IR0069, W.D. Okla.).
