Georgia High Court Affirms Pandora Case Will Stay In Thomas County Court

Mealey's (October 5, 2016, 1:53 PM EDT) -- ATLANTA — The Georgia Supreme Court on Oct. 3 affirmed the Georgia Court of Appeals’ ruling that a case involving South Georgia business interests must remain in the county in which it was filed because a foreign corporation that does not have its principal place of business in the state does not have the right to remove the case to another county (Pandora Franchising LLC v. Kingdom Retail Group LLP, No. S16G0490, Ga. Sup.; 2016 Ga. LEXIS 610).
