Mealey's (October 4, 2016, 9:32 AM EDT) -- WASHINGTON, D.C. — A sexual assault conviction of a former official for a Michigan Indian tribe will stand after the U.S. Supreme Court on Oct. 3 declined to review a Sixth Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals finding that the tribe had jurisdiction to prosecute the case (Norbert Kelsey v.
