University Seeks High Court Clarification On Nominative Fair Use In Trademark Case

Mealey's (September 30, 2016, 9:47 AM EDT) -- WASHINGTON, D.C. — The U.S. Supreme Court should clarify the proper approach to nominative fair use, a university named as a defendant in a trademark infringement lawsuit says in a petition filed Sept. 15 (Security University LLC and Sondra Schneider v. International Information Systems Security Certification Consortium Inc., No. 16-352, U.S. Sup.).
