Colorado Springs Pays $7.1M To Settle Water Pipeline Easement, Damage Case

Mealey's (July 15, 2015, 12:58 PM EDT) -- PUEBLO, Colo. — Colorado Springs Utility has agreed to pay a ranch $7.1 million to settle a state court lawsuit over an easement for a water pipeline and damage to the ranch over which the pipeline will pass, according to a July 2 statement by the utility (City of Colorado Springs, Colorado v. Walker Ranches LLP, et al., No. 2011CV313, Colo. Dist., Pueblo Co.).
