Kentucky Federal Judge Dismisses Amended Complaint Against Cycling Franchisor

(September 15, 2016, 7:43 AM EDT) -- LEXINGTON, Ky. — A Kentucky federal judge on Aug. 18 dismissed with prejudice and struck from the active docket all claims against an indoor cycling franchisor in a contract dispute lawsuit that sought more than $2.5 million in damages because the plaintiff failed to plead with specificity a connection between a purported misrepresentation and any specific injury it suffered (859 Boutique Fitness LLC v. CycleBar Franchising LLC, No. 5:16-cv-018, E.D. Ky., Central Div.; 2016 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 109842).
