FDA Recommends Against Ovarian Cancer Screening Tests

(September 12, 2016, 12:55 PM EDT) -- SILVER SPRING, Md. — The Food and Drug Administration on Sept. 7 recommended that women and doctors not use currently marketed tests to screen for ovarian cancer, saying the tests are not sensitive enough to reliably screen for the disease.
