Judge Finds Chance Of Recovery From Retailer, Remands Asbestos-Talc Case

(August 30, 2016, 12:26 PM EDT) -- ALEXANDRIA, La. — A woman sufficiently alleges that retailers of commercial talc knew or should have known about the dangers of asbestos exposure from those products, a federal judge in Louisiana held Aug. 18 in finding that a chance of recovery existed and granting remand (Kay Powers v. Beacon CMP Corp., et al., No. 16-638, W.D. La.).
