Judge Finds Borrowers Breached Agreement, Dismisses Claims Against Wells Fargo
(August 26, 2016, 11:07 AM EDT) -- AUSTIN, Texas — A Texas federal judge on Aug. 19 said borrowers breached the terms of a settlement with a bank when they failed to provide a payoff amount, finding that the case should be dismissed under the terms of the agreement (Gary A. Shepherd, et al. v. Wells Fargo Bank, et al., No. 1:15-CV-358, W.D. Texas; 2016 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 111098).
