(August 23, 2016, 11:21 AM EDT) -- WASHINGTON, D.C. — An insurer on Aug. 15 defended the ripeness of claims arising from the failure to pay monies owed under the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (ACA) to a federal judge, saying the government’s recent change in interpreting when the monies are due does not negate its case (Health Republic Insurance Co. v.
