Final Settlement Approval Denied In Homeopathic Labeling Class Suit
(August 18, 2016, 10:57 AM EDT) -- SAN DIEGO — A California federal judge on Aug. 9 “reluctantly” denied final approval of a class settlement in a case accusing Similasan Corp. of deceptively labeling its homeopathic products, finding that the broadened class definition and release provisions appear to benefit only the defendant (Kim Allen, et al. v. Similasan Corporation, No. 12-376, S.D. Calif.; 2016 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 105848).
