Federal Judge Refuses To Intervene In Foreclosure Action, Dismisses Case

Mealey's (August 17, 2016, 1:45 PM EDT) -- TRENTON, N.J. — After finding that it would be improper to intervene in a state foreclosure-related action, a New Jersey federal judge on Aug. 16 dismissed a borrower's action against a bank in which he asserted a claim for violation of the Truth in Lending Act (TILA) (Abhi Barthakur v. Wells Fargo Bank, N.A., No. 15-8079, D. N.J.; 2016 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 108304)....
