Employment-Related Practices Exclusion Bars Coverage, Federal Judge Rules
(August 16, 2016, 10:08 AM EDT) -- INDIANAPOLIS — A commercial general liability insurance policy’s employment-related practices exclusion bars coverage for underlying defamation claims arising from a failed business relationship, an Indiana federal judge ruled Aug. 8, finding that the insurer has no duty to defend or indemnify the underlying lawsuit (The Cincinnati Insurance Co. v. Global Caravan Technologies, Inc., et al., No. 14-01643, S.D. Ind.; 2016 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 104462).
