(August 8, 2016, 1:37 PM EDT) -- LAS CRUCES, N.M. — A New Mexico city on July 27 filed a petition for eminent domain condemnation of a local water utility after negotiating a $16.4 million purchase (City of Las Cruces v. Jornada Water Company, Inc., No. D-307-CV-2016-01781, N.M. Dist., Dona Ana Co.).
