Pennsylvania Attorney General Says Fracking Dispute Belongs In State Court
(August 5, 2016, 1:58 PM EDT) -- HARRISBURG, Pa. — The Pennsylvania attorney general on July 25 filed a brief in Pennsylvania federal court opposing a hydraulic fracturing company’s request for oral argument pertaining to the issue of remand, arguing that its motion is “capable of prompt resolution” based on the briefs that have been submitted to the district court (Commonwealth of Pennsylvania v. Chesapeake Energy Corporation, et al., No. 16-1012, M.D. Pa.).
