New York Justice Finds Defendants Liable For Damage Caused By Excavation Work
(August 3, 2016, 3:28 PM EDT) -- NEW YORK — A New York state court justice on July 22 awarded partial summary judgment to a couple who claim that excavation activities to an adjacent property caused damage to their home, finding that the plaintiffs established that the defendants were liable (Jack Vitale, et al. v. RLD Group LLC, et al., No. 704272/2013, N.Y. Sup., Queens Co.; 2016 N.Y. Misc. LEXIS 2792).
