California Federal Judge Grants Summary Judgment To BP On Its PMPA Claims
(August 3, 2016, 7:29 AM EDT) -- SAN DIEGO — A California federal judge on July 18 granted BP West Coast Products LLC’s motion for summary judgment, agreeing with the oil and gas company that it met the requirements of the Petroleum Marketing Products Act (PMPA) when it terminated more than 200 gas station franchise agreements in the state (BP West Coast Products LLC v. Crossroad Petroleum Inc., et al., No. 12cv665, S.D. Calif.; 2016 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 93758).
