Chinese Investors Denied Class Certification In Suit Alleging Sham Deals
(August 2, 2016, 3:07 PM EDT) -- CLEVELAND — A complaint filed by Chinese property investors who claim that they were scammed does not qualify for class treatment as there are too many individualized issues, an Ohio federal judge ruled July 25, denying a motion for class certification (Rui He, et al. v. Davor Rom, et al., No. 15-1869, N.D. Ohio; 2016 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 96824).
