Municipality, State Agency Debate Discovery Requests In Fracking Permit Case

Mealey's (June 26, 2015, 8:42 AM EDT) -- HARRISBURG, Pa. — A local municipality engaged in a dispute over a hydraulic fracturing permit with the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) on June 12 file a brief with the Pennsylvania Environmental Hearing Board (EHB) contending that it has fully responded to discovery requests and arguing that the DEP’s contention that it is a burden to respond to the township’s discovery requests is “unfounded” (South Fayette Township v. Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection, No. 2014-071-R, Pa. EHB)
