Monsanto: Court Should Take Notice Of Exhibits Debating Glyphosate’s Carcinogenicity

(July 22, 2016, 9:27 AM EDT) -- LOS ANGELES — Monsanto Co. on July 1 filed a brief in California federal court, arguing that the court should take notice of the company’s exhibits filed in a lawsuit brought against it by a widow who contends that the company is liable for the wrongful death of her husband because he was exposed to glyphosate, a chemical manufactured by Monsanto and used in its herbicide Roundup (Teri Michelle McCall v. Monsanto Company, No. 16-1609, C.D. Calif.).
