Judge: Insureds In Bad Faith Suit Have A Chance To Recover Against Adjuster
(July 22, 2016, 9:26 AM EDT) -- DALLAS — Remand of an insurance breach of contract and bad faith lawsuit to state court is proper, a federal judge in Texas ruled July 13, because insureds have shown that there is a “reasonable basis to predict” that the insureds may be able to recover against an insurance adjuster (Bobby Joe Manziel, et al. v. Seneca Insurance Co. Inc., et al., No. 15-3786, N.D. Texas; 2016 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 90638).
